Central Petroleum are exploring for shale gas in the Central Desert of
Australia. This includes areas near
Alice Springs and Uluru.
In an age
of climate change, how far should we go to extract fossil fuels? Should we cover the desert in shale gas wells
and frack the outback? Is nothing
sacred?

community group has formed to oppose fracking in Central Australia – Central
Australian Frack Free Alliance.
